The barn is a luxury detached building built over 150 years ago, it has gas central heating, Flat screen TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, very comfortable lounge with huge couches, very well-equipped kitchen with every mod con, luxury bathroom with a double ended bathtub and a luxury en suite to the master bedroom.
Only a 2 Minute walk to the very quaint and friendly village pub ( The Wooldale Arms ). And the local convenience store is also a 2 minute walk away, offering all the essential supplies. In the village there is also a farm shop offering the sale of free range eggs. |
 The accommodation is also located on the last of the summer wine bus tour route, look out for the vintage bus as it passes the barn. There are views from many of the rooms down the holme valley, and just a 1 min walk left out the barn door, and up cliff road will give you commanding views of the entire area, also a great picnic spot.
Holmfirth village and its famous Sids cafe, and Nora's house and last of the summer wine museum are only a 1 Mile walk down the hill. The Village also has a host of restaurants catering for most appetite's, with Indian, Thai, Chinese, Tapas, English, Italian. There are numerous pubs and bars in the village, also many cafe's serving delicious home cooked treats from the area.
The peak district is at your fingertips, as well as the beautiful surroundings of the holme valley. For the keen walkers, there are many walks that can start from the front door of the barn, we supply numerous walking guides and maps, even OS maps are supplied in our information packs in the barn.
